ROBERT DELAMERE

​

Robert, an acclaimed television and theatre director, screenwriter and specialist in digital capture and Screen Arts, joined Fremantle as Creative Producer of Global Drama and Film in 2022. His feature film, The Tenth District, co-written with Jack Holden, is currently in development with Italy’s award-winning The Apartment Pictures.

 

He directed Bleak House Guest for Sky Arts Urban Myth series and co-wrote and directed all six episodes of Channel 4's critically acclaimed Hang Ups (Slam Films), which was nominated as Best International Comedy Drama at the 2018 C21 Awards and for the Comedy Award at the South Bank Show Awards 2019. He has directed 25 digital film captures including the cinema released The Crucible, Ghosts, Funny Girl, Merrily We Roll Along, Private Lives and broadcast films of Casanova (Sky) and Funny Girl (Sky). In 2009 he founded the multi-award-winning Digital Theatre and Digital Theatre Plus, respectively the world’s leading performing arts and arts education platforms serving 5 million students in over 100 countries. He has directed over forty stage productions in theatres, including The Donmar, Royal Court, Almeida, Hampstead Theatre, RSC, The Royal Exchange Manchester, Liverpool Everyman, Sheffield Crucible Theatres and across the West End, working with actors including Tom Hardy, Kate Winslet, Colin Farrell, Helen McCrory, Jason Isaacs, Stephen Graham, Rufus Sewell, Maxine Peake, Dani Sapani, Rhys Ifans and many others.

 

In 2018, he launched Fremantle’s audio label, Storyglass. As the label’s Creative Director, he commissioned & produced various projects including Regina Moriarty’s Baby It's Cold Outside, starring Chris O'Dowd and Ann-Marie Duff, Kill The Beast’s Who Exploded Vivien Stone?, Max & Ivan: Fugitives, That Podcast series, What I Love; and the award-winning, global fiction hit The Harrowing.

 

Robert has worked extensively as a creative consultant/director on arts and culture projects including Arab Stage, The Foundry, Pinocchio in Venice and The Play’s the Thing. He was formerly Creative Director of Amnesty International. He is a Chair of English Touring Theatre and a Creative Advisor to Shakespeare North.

HOLLY GILLIAM

 

Holly is a qualified film and television lawyer, curator, producer and founder of HDG Projects Limited. Since 2013, she has managed Monty Python, responsible for the management and exploitation of the IP and assets of Monty Python including licensing, merchandising, catalogue deals and much more.

In her 20+ year career in the entertainment business, she has worked in film PR (on & off set); curated exhibitions & produced books about craftsmanship in film, including Terry Gilliam’s memoir book Gilliamesque; co-produced Monty Python Live (mostly) - One Down Five to Go, the group's 2014 live reunion shows at the O2, London, for which she was nominated for a BAFTA for the live broadcast production; and produced the 2015 documentary, Monty Python – The Meaning of Live, which had its international premiere at the 2015 TriBeCa Film Festival, Canadian Premiere at HotDocs in Toronto and European Premiere at Sheffield Docs Fest 2015.

 

Holly has worked with a number of filmmakers including Terry Gilliam, Jeff Bridges, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Benicio Del Toro, Brad Pitt, Andrew Garfield, Colin Farrell, Matt Damon, Jonathan Pryce, Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield, Gabriella Pescucci (costume), Julie Weiss (costume), and she works with the BFI on various fundraising and archive initiatives.

 

Holly works with companies including the Academy of Motion Pictures & Sciences, BFI, Netflix, Universal Music Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Disney, Universal Pictures, Criterion Collection, CAA, WME, Fox Searchlight, Intelligence Squared, Canongate and Abrams.
